SAIS is pleased to highlight that Malmö will host three major international AI conferences during September and October 2026, further strengthening Sweden’s role as a meeting place for leading AI research and international scholarly exchange.
The 18th European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV 2026) will take place on 8-13 September 2026. As one of the leading international venues in computer vision, ECCV brings together researchers working on visual understanding, machine learning, perception, and a wide range of AI-driven applications. The 23rd European Conference on Multi-Agent Systems (EUMAS 2026) will follow on 21–25 September 2026. EUMAS is an important forum for research on multi-agent systems, including coordination, interaction, autonomy, decision-making, and distributed intelligence. The 9th AAAI Conference on AI, Ethics, and Society (AIES 2026) will take place on 12–14 October 2026. AIES offers a leading interdisciplinary forum for research on the societal implications of AI, including governance, responsibility, fairness, labor, public institutions, health, and democracy.
